Methodology

How the dataset is built

The bubble chart includes public ownership or starting purchase prices only. Monthly subscriptions and refundable deposits are excluded because they are not comparable with a purchase price. Original currencies remain unchanged.

Editorial analysis

Five products do not define a pricing law

This sample covers Unitree R1, G1 and H2, Booster K1 and 1X NEO. The observed heights range from 95 to 182 cm. Product category and purchase terms differ across the points, including a preorder alongside listed available products.

Height leaves out much of the system

Two similarly sized robots can have different hands, sensors, controllers and software access. Height also says little about useful arm reach or whether a robot can work at a specific shelf. These omitted features can matter more to a project than standing dimensions.

Read the price date with the point

The prices are observations recorded in July 2026. The plot uses ownership or purchase amounts and excludes subscriptions and deposits. It provides no regression model and cannot predict the price of an unseen robot from its height.

Frequently asked questions

Does a taller humanoid necessarily cost more?

This five-product sample cannot establish that rule. Configuration, sales model and intended use differ as well as height.
